White surfaces reflects light - black absorbs it
it reflects heat because it doesnt need it

White reflects heat the most because it absorbs very little. Black absorbs a lot of heat, so reflects very little.
Black surfaces with large area absorb heat best (a powder for example that is black).

Black because it absorbs all the heat whereas white reflects the heat away so black is a better heat insulator. Help this helps :)

Shiny black
black dull surfaces but im looking for why these surfaces are the worst?
light and smooth surfaces reflect heat energy
Dull Black Surfaces
Sliver surfaces reflect heat keeping the body of the firefighter cool, whereas black surfaces are good absorbers of heat.
color is simply the wavelength of light that an object reflects (as the other colors in the spectrum are ascorbed) With that in mind, White contains all the colors and therefore reflects all the colors. Black is the opposite and ascorbes all colors and thus heats up fastest from the energy it ascorbes.
