It depends where your at. If your in a house hold, good cover would be in a doorway, braceing yourself, or under a desk, covering your head. I dont belive basements would be good cover, the house could cave and kill you... good luck :) heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

The covers you mention are pretty good. But the best of all is a bathroom. The reason is that there is no other room in a house that is stronger than a bathroom, with four walls close together. Another good place, especially if you dont have time, is to throw yourself on the floor next to your bed. If something falls from the ceiling, it will leave a space for breathing and for crawling out after the quake.
