In February or March, you need to cut the plant back to four to six inches high. Leave two or three leaves on a branch. You need this to cause new buds to grow. Then you need to keep watering it and give it some plant food every two weeks. You can bring it outside in the summer but bring it back in by September 15. To make it flower, it must be in complete darkness from 5 PM to 8 AM. It needs to be kept between 60 and 70 degrees. Too warm will delay flowering and too cold could kill the plant.
