First, know your problem - what is it really that you want to find out or learn?. Second, gather facts about the problem -observe the things and events concerned in the problem. Third, record all observation carefully and plan a tentative answer to the problem, but give no conclusion yet. Fourth, experiment to verify the correctness of your answer and record your findings and results. Fifth, if all experiments and observation lead to a common conclusion, a final answer to the problem may be given.

Scientific method refers to bodies of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. To be termed scientific, a method of inquiry must be based on gathering observable, empirical and measurable evidence subject to specific principles of reasoning. Scientific studies have proved that it is a sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and there is no effective cure. There is a lot of research being done on this subject and the person can consult his doctor with the assurance that he will get an advice backed by scientific research. Since scientific studies are based on observations which can be repeated, the person can see for himself/herself the effects of the studies. Gathering information from scientific sources is more reliable than opinions of individuals alone.
