There are test to determine the THC content in weed. THC is the main ingredient in weed that creats the high. However, test are complicated and require use of a lab. A general way to tell potency of weed is by looking at it. Higher consentration of THC will result in darker weed, 'crystals' on the weed itself, and increased odor and 'stickyness' to the weed, etc. while if looking for low THC amounts, look for many stems in the weed, etc.

∙ 13y agoGo and buy a single panel THC kit from any CVS or pharmacy. See the instructions and you will find out how. There is one tip. When you test yourself at home try to use your first morning urine, because is dirtiest and full with metabolites, so it will give you the right result. But when you go to the LAB test, avoid giving this urine, pee at least 3-4 times before you givr them a sample.
