No, No, No. The mandatory penalties for this type of criminal charge are very, very severe. Permits to carry guns in other states do NOT give you permission to carry in New Jersey. My Law Office has been involved in a number of cases dealing with out of state clients charged with gun possession while having permits in other states.

∙ 12y agoIt is theoretically possible - New Jersey has a "May Issue" legislation on concealed carry permits. Unofficially, it means only the most privileged and well connected persons in New Jersey will be able to obtain one.
