Is Belford High School a scam?

I don't think so, accredited schools and colleges are considered legitimate and recognized. Belford is an accredited high school. It is an online school and there is a lot of misconception among people about concepts of online education, programs offered by schools and accreditation.

If you call Belford, you might get to know what real truth is but you might get carried away by listening to their advertisement on phone and you would not get actual information out of them which you can actually rely on. Ask them some basic questions about their program and courses but a proper review is the one which comes from third party, who would have no benefit or loss in expressing their opinion about it.

To protect yourself it would be wise that you get your high school diploma from an accredited school. Accreditation is kind of a recognition for an educational institute it allows them to reward educational credentials.

Two thing i would like to emphasize. Educational program, and the accreditation. I called upon their advisers and they somewhat convinced me about the diploma program.

I would like you to call their advisers too and share your experience. After talking to them and getting all relevant links. I didn't really seem a scam to me. Let me know what are your view about it.

Search online for information about this university, call their helpline, talk to their support, email them some questions and find out by yourself. Most importantly, contact their alumni and ask them what do they think about the University and if you should get an admission in there too.

That's how you learn about a University if its not famous already!

On the first answer above, naturally if you contact the program itself they will deny any negative aspect about their own program. You need to check with unbiased sources for impartial evaluations. If you check the Related Question below, and it's Related Link, you'll find that the Better Business Bureau (BBB) gives it a grade of "F" and calls it a diploma mill.

I suggest you search for the students online who have studied in this university before and ask their opinion. If you see a lot of their graduates employed and satisfied with their education, you'd know that Belford University is not a scam. If it goes otherwise, then I guess start looking for an alternative.
