Just attack it. It is best to upgrade your sonic wind and spam. Long range magic works best, fireball, sonic wind and life drain are good choices. Water laser is not very good against it and melee are a bit risky. Remember to watch the crystals on its body, it tells you when its going to use that ice covering thing.
