PhotoBooth is included on the Mac OS system disc. It will have been installed in the Applications folder. It is not available separately.

The iPad 2 is slimmer and has a camera. On the menu of the iPad 2 it should have extra icons like FaceTime, Photo Booth and Camera.
The Photo Booth thermal view does work on iPad 2. But keep in mind it isn't actual thermal imaging. If there is light, it will show up as a brighter color on the screen.

Photo Booth is owned by the system and you are not able to delete it. If you had it in the Dock but removed the icon from the Dock you can still find it in the Applications folder.
