The Sears Model 42DL .22 caliber rifle was manufactured by Marlin Firearms, their Model 80. Check with Marlin for parts availability.
The manufacturer is normally stamped on the firearm next to the model, caliber, and serial number.
It depends on the particular model of the rifle, not the caliber it is in. What model and make is it?
If you state the caliber we could then determine the size of the action.
Wat is the value of 22 caliber sears and roebuck model 340530430 lever action rifle
Would need model to answer
The model 1906 was only made as a .22 caliber. It is also a slide (pump) action while the model 94 is a lever action. A model 94 made from 1894 to 1929 should be marked "Model 1894". If a model 94 is a .38 caliber it should also be marked "38-55 WCF".
Winchester introduced the .243 Winchester cartridge in 1955 for the bolt-action Model 70, and the lever action Model 88. As far as the year of manufacture of a particular rifle, you will need to provide the manufacturer, model number and serial number to trace it, but if chambered for .243, it logically cannot be early than 1955.

AFAIK, there is no Winchester Model 90A. Is it a lever action, slide action, bot action, semi-auto or single shot? What caliber? What type and length of barrel?
The caliber designation of 7mm-08 is considered a short action.
