Need to correct the problem and get a scanner to cancel the check engine light... Also, remove the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and the ECU will cancel the codes; but they will return if the problem has not been corrected.
Put key in ignition and then turn on/off 3 times.
A bad relay could be the reason why the parking lights on the Toyota Sequoia won't turn off. Swapping the relay out with another one may fix this problem.
Put some air in the tires.
If you set the parking brake before you start it, they will not come on.
There is a button on the dash marked trac. PUSH IT/////actually the button is on the center council on my 2004 gt2
When this occassionally happens to me, I just turn off the ignition and then restart. This usually remedies the problem. A low level in the brake fluid reservoir will also cause the trac lite to come on. Low level brake fluid mostly was the caused of the problem. Add brake fluid and tap the brake plastic container a couple of times to reset the VSC light.
You CAN NOT turn off the quadra trac this is an all wheel drive model. Selec trac has option for 2H 4 part time 4h N and 4L
Worn tie rod end? Worn CV joint?
i am guessing that you want to change the bulb and not the assembly. to remove the bulb just turn it to the left remove the old bulb replace in the assembly but this time turn it to the right.
I think it has to do with a loose/defective radiator cap. Also, I think only the dealership can turn that light off ... unless someone out there knows how to reset it. My radiator cap had a bad gasket. The engine overheated and the cap blew. In two days (when I finally make it back to civilization) I will know more. It is very unlikely to be a loose/defective radiator cap. VSC / TRAC issues are most likely to be related to a brake sensor on one or more of the wheels. On my 2003 Sequoia, I can cause this condition at will, simply by braking so hard that I trigger the anti-lock brakes. Because I have a bad wheel sensor on one of the wheels, that will cause the TRAC to trip off, and turns on the VSC Trac Light and the Check Engine light. I can disconnect the negative battery cable for a couple of minutes, and it will go away, never to return until the next time I brake extra hard and the anti-locks go on again. I know I could have the wheel sensor replaced, but I just never seem to get the time. Or money.
