the way i got foreign fruits on Animal Crossing wild world is i sent several letters to people in my town with my town fruit in them. when those people sent letters back, they each had a different fruit in them. i hope this works for you!

for me, i occasionally go down to the beach and check the shore. sometimes, coconuts will wash up and you can pick them up and plant them, but you have to be careful with coconuts. they will only mature if they are planted close to the shore. And here's a tip, if you want a tree to grow to it's full size (aka mature) then use your axe to chop down a mature tree and plant it in it's place. Planting something in a spot where an already mature plant was guarantees that it will mature to full size!

How do I get foreign fruit on Animal Crossing City Folk?

Well, there are a few ways you can get different kinds of foreign fruits on Animal Crossing. I believe that there are only 3 different ways that you can get other fruits. I will name all 3 of them.

1. Go to another person's town! They might have a different type of fruit than you. Just go into their town and when your there, shake a tree or two. Take them back and plant them in your town. Or, you can sell them! Fruits that are foreign to your town are worth 500 bells a piece!

2. Your "mom" will send you fruit. Sometime (I believe at the beginning of Summer), your "mom" will write you a letter with a piece of fruit inside!

3. Your neighbors will send your fruit! But first, you have to send them a piece of fruit in a letter. Once you have sent it, the neighbor in which you have sent it to will write back. They could send you back a different piece of fruit. Say, your town has Oranges. And you send your neighbor an orange. He might send you a peach. They don't always send one back! But they sometimes do. So, you would probably have to send 3 different letters with the same fruit in it to just get one. But, hey, you never know what they are going to send back!

Also: When you plant your foreign fruits, be sure to keep an eye on the little saplings. Try planting a few, say, two or three, so you definitely get a fruit tree! But if you only have one of those fruits, be very careful with it. Water it everyday so it doesn't wilt and then you have to plant another one. Hope this helps!
