Surround yourself with people who care about you and do activities that require you to think of the matter at hand. Idle time will take you back to the thoughts that make you anxious. When you do think about the seperation, rationalize it. Keep phone calls to a minimum as the constant reminder that you are seperated will make it harder to deal with. Instead, take some time out to write them short letters when you think of them and act as if you were just having a normal conversation with them...
