  • Over 90% of people are quite shy and some simply force themselves to talk to strangers or are able to public speak at meetings. Some people take courses on public speaking or join a theater group to get over their fear. Many actors have problems of shyness and fear of talking to people and through theater they begin to open up more.

How can you get rid of fear of speaking ur mind if you fear being ridiculed by people and you are quiet person all of ur life opening up to only few people and u really wish u could turn inside out?

There are a couple ways around this issue. The first one is funny, the other isn't quite as amusing. Try to imagine the people you're talking to naked. Their embarrassment will far outshine your own. The other way is the way I took when I had the same problem. I finally stopped caring what other people thought about me, and realized that I had the First Amendment behind me. The freedom of speech is absolute, and if you feel stifled by the people you're talking to, maybe you don't need to be talking to them.
