Books are curious inventions that are meant to effect the mind and the soul. I am an avid reader. I love books because they take me to far away places and stuff. But if you don't like to read, this might be a problem if you have a book review or report or something due. If this is a reeeeeaaaally boring book, JUST READ IT. Don't skip anything just to finish it quickly because YOU WILL REGRET IT. I know I have. But if this is a not-really-boring book, take your time (unless u are close to ur deadline) and think about everything you read. How does it make you feel? Does it change your outlook on life? Can you relate to the characters, or predict future events? Remember, the author wrote this book for a purpose, so figure out WHY. What is the message of the book? Soak in every word and look for really descriptive passages that you want to read over and over again, maybe to others. Lastly, would you read another book by this author? If you answered to all of these questions "no", then either you just didnt try to enjoy the book, or it was just a BAD BOOK. Don't worry. Just keep looking for good books to read cuz there IS SUCH A THING.
