How can you keep homemade bath salts from hardening I use 4 parts epsom salts to one part baking soda with some essential oils added in....they seem to get rock hard even with tight jar tops?

I put mine in my dryer with dryer sheets. If you put it on maximum heat it will semi- melt and become softer. Any dryer sheet works but I prefer Bounce.
