How can you love the people who are evil?

Genesis 6:5
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Genesis 6:6
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Genesis 6:7
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
From above chapter and verses, we can see God's attitude for the people who are evil: God bestows His mercy abundantly on those He cares for and casts out His anger fiercely against those He detests and rejects. God love people who would do everything just as God commanded him, that is to say, he would do whatever God told him to do. That's why God commanded Noah to make an ark.

Well, it helps to not think of them as "evil". "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Jesus died for everyone, and anyone can accept him and become a child of God. We need to pray for those who really need God.

Every single individual that has ever lived has been created by God. And every single thing (or being) created by God is good - read the first chapter of Genesis, and God said that it was good, and when He created man, He said, it is VERY good.

Evil in Catholic theology is very specific. Evil is not anything, evil is a lack, a void. In other words, everything that exists was created by God and is good, evil is something that we (and the demons) bring about by our free will. Evil is where there is a lack of proper alignment with God's Will.

People were created good, and we must see Our Blessed Lord in every one of them. People can choose evil, but they, themselves, are not evil. We see in them the image of God and we love them. We do not approve of the evil that they might choose, but we love them and want their salvation. Remember, no one gets into heaven alone: you are either bringing people with you or you are not getting in.

Christianity is not a "me and Jesus" religion, it is all of us in the Body of Christ. If you see someone choosing evil, you must pray for them, and you must confront them as far as they are going astray, but you never condemn them as people. That is how you love those who do evil, you see God in them and you love them as your brothers. It's like a parent who disapproves of their child actions, but loves the child none the less.
