You can purchase hair relaxer to help your curly stay straight or you can use a straightener.
Curly, cuz if your hair is straight and thick, your curls wont stay long, if its straight and thin, the curls will stay long, but depends on the hair spray... when your hair is curly you can curl it better....

Because some peoples hair is not naturally straight. You have to have a hair straightener to make it stay straight, if you get it wet it will go frizzy
If you have naturally straight hair, you can't "get" naturally curly hair. The best thing you can do is experiment with hair products (like gels, mousses, & hair sprays) to discover which will help you get & hold the best curl for your hair.
well, after you wash your hair dry it with a hair dryer, DO NOT AIR DRY IT. then you straighten it with a flat iron, then spray it with hair spray, and it should stay straight. hope this helps!:)
