You will have to spend a large amount of money and comply with the NFA to begin with.
There are parts that you can put into the gearbox the dampen the sound of the piston and other parts moving, and surprisingly enough mock suppressers do decrease the sound a little bit (the fatter the suppresser the quieter the sound), but it will still always make some noise

∙ 13y agoAny silencer that could be moved from one gun, (toy or not) may be in violation of US law. You should research this carefully before proceeding.
you have a film canister cut a cross in the middle on the top put toilet paper the canister put a hole in the bott om in the middle put the lid on put the cross cut on the front on the gun tape it and wala!

∙ 12y agodecrease the FPS to under 200. This is basically impossible with anything other than an extremely cheep gun, but you can always try by using the weakest spring you can find and purposely creating air leaks.

∙ 13y agoSilencers do not work on AEG or spring airsoft guns because the sound comes from the gearbox or spring respectively. There are a few gas gun silencers that work though.
