It probably just needs cleaning. Simplest way is to take the cover off of the unit, the sides and top come off as a unit and hose it down at a car wash. Wash both sides of the coils being careful to spray the water straight in so that the fins do not bend over and the fan blade. Let it dry for a day before plugging back in and using. It should be quieter and cost less to run.
build a sloping sound baffle cover that also directs the sound and air flow away from the house.
radiator fan.
PWM (pulse width modulation, which controls fan speed in order to reduce the overall noise in a system.
If the noise is a squeaking sound, it could be coming from the bearings in the blower fan. It could also be coming from a worn bushing or bearing in the blower motor.
depending on how low it is, it is either the fan rubbing against the casing or the belt that turns the fan coming loose.
I am not sure as to what sound the noise is making but if it sounds like the engine is still funning after the car has been turned off it is the fan. Depending on what temp the engine is and the temp outside, the fan could run if its too hot.
electric fan
A squeaking noise coming from the glove box on a 2003 Dodge Ram might be the heater blower fan. Try oiling the fan to see if it will stop. It could also mean that a screw is missing from the dash and the squeaking noise is the dash moving a little in that area.
The cooling fan is coming on cooling the engine. Very normal.
Its the fan and and all the parts in the computer that starting up.
Perhaps the cooling fan is running?
If the ticking is coming from under the dash. It's probably your fan housing, or a misaligned fan. You will have to get to the fan and either replace the fan, or move any obstacles that may be hitting the fan.
No. Try tapping on the fan relay in the fuse & relay panel under the hood. If the sensor is only reading 35 degrees however, despite the actual outside temp, that will prevent the A/C from coming on.
