How would you fuse together two broken pieces of candle?

Heat up the two areas that you want connected and when the wax starts dripping, attach the two parts of the candle and wait for it to dry.

How long does it take for a tall candle to melt?

If the candle is small, about 2 hours/ If the candle is more than three inches long and pretty thick, about 5 hours/ If the candle is very long and very wide, it would take more than a full day for it to mysteriously get broken into pieces and get sprinkled on your couch for you to sit on and the pieces will penetrate ur bum making it bleed to ur death and finallly it will explode into tinier pieces splitting atoms into several pieces, creating a nuclear reaction and fusion in which your genital area will shrink back from because it knows what will happen but you won't and your children, after this incident, will be grossly mutilated and undeveloped because the candle broke and caused the nuclear fission for you and your cells to devour and then ur apartment and/or house will be like chernobyl like "omgwtfbbq we cant live in it now because of your stupid fcuking candles" and youll be like "it wasn't my fault" and youll get sued by your landlord because of the nuclear radiation no-man zone youve created inside the apartment. Then, the cloud of nuclear radiation will drift down and break into cars like a sandman niggger and randomly rape everyone by their asses and youll feel bad because you got raped in ur asses too. yeah. So don't buy wide candles.

What is a dressmaker pin mostly used for?

It is frequently asked, "How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?" The "pin" that is referred to is a dressmaker pin. This common pin is usually about 1 inch long with a round or flat head about 1/8 inch in diameter. It is used for pinning two or more pieces of fabric together before the fabric is sewn together with a needle and thread. Of course, the pins can be used to pin together paper, leather (if the leather is thin enough to push a pin through it), etc.

What is the best way to get melted candle wax out of carpeting?

Remove as much wax as possible by hand using a serrated knife to help scrape the wax from the carpet fibers. Then take a brown paper bag and cut a section that is twice the size of the affected carpet area and place over the wax stain. Then take a preheated electric iron set on medium and "iron" over the paper bag piece. The wax in the carpet will melt and be absorbed into the paper. Several tries may be necessary using fresh pieces of brown paper bag to get all of the candle wax out.

What does grain of the fabric mean?

The way the fabric is woven gives it different properties in different directions. When you are cutting a pattern you want to get all the pieces on the same "grain", i.e. a piece that will be vertical on your body should not be cut diagonally on the peace of fabric (unless you cut all the pieces diagonally or on the bias). The grain of the fabric is the natural direction of the fabric, usually up and down along the length of the fabric.

How many pieces of fabric does it take to make the American flag?

There were 64.

What is the straight grain of fabric?

The way the fabric is woven gives it different properties in different directions. When you are cutting a pattern you want to get all the pieces on the same "grain", i.e. a piece that will be vertical on your body should not be cut diagonally on the peace of fabric (unless you cut all the pieces diagonally or on the bias). The grain of the fabric is the natural direction of the fabric. The selvage is the edge of the fabric. When you buy a piece of fabric from the roll, you get two cut edges that fray and two factory edges that look different from the rest of the fabric and don't fray. These edges are the selvage. If the grain of the fabric runs from selvage to selvage that means the natural direction of the fabric (that you should use to line up your pattern pieces) runs straight across the fabric from factory edge to factory edge.

What are fabric swatches?

They are small pieces of cut fabric that are used by buyers and designers. The swatch acts as a sample of the fabric which provides information about color, thickness, durability, texture, etc.
