The three R's of the energy resources are Recycle, Reuse and Reduce.

What you can do with nuclear power is to breed useful fissile material such as plutonium from non-fissile uranium-238. However to separate out the plutonium is a somewhat hazardous chemical process, in the US this has only been done for military purposes.
