A Few Ways to View Pending Friend Requests
After many edits of their privacy features, Facebook has removed the function to view a list of sent and pending friend requests. There are, however, a few efficient-albeit slightly complicated-ways to view this information.
One way is to navigate through your complete friends list.
If the request is still pending, it will read "Friend Request Pending" under the name.
If you're curious about a friend request sent to a specific person, you can also search for them in the search box at the top of your Facebook homepage.
"Awaiting friend confirmation" will appear at the top of the page, next to their name, if the request is still pending. The "Add as Friend" link will appear if the request has been ignored.
An application is also available to provide a quick and easy view of your pending friend requests. A new version of this application is currently being developed, which will allow you to not only view pending requests, but also see who has 'unfriended' you and who has ignored a request.
If you are interested, there is also a way to view recently-added friends. These are friends who have either sent you a request, or who you have sent requests to.
Friend Requests vs. Facebook Invites
Some confusion has been raised in a number of discussion forums regarding the difference between friend requests and Facebook invites. A friend request is sent between two Facebook members. An invite is sent by one Facebook user to a non-Facebook user, inviting that person to create an account. If you're interested, there are ways to view any past or pending Facebook invites.
Here you will be able to view a list of sent invites. You can sort this list by recipient, invitees who have joined, invitees who have not joined, and date sent.
Go to your Facebook Home Then go under Account > Edit Friends Click on All Connections on the left side Under the person who you sent the request to should say Friend Request Pending. Or you could go to this app called Pending Friend Requests https://apps.facebook.com/friendrequests/
you can't. it say:pattyarch has too many friend requests pending.
you check on their web page or ask them.
it is mean that person hve over 1000 friend requets pending
One can find old friend requests on Facebook, by clicking on the small people icon in the upper left hand corner of the sites page. When the icon is clicked a list of the new, and the most recent friend requests are displayed along with old requests that the person has accepted.
Maximum about 20 friend requests per day. Not more than that. I think facebook admin is watching users. Can get into trouble if send too many friend requests. Trick is to get mutual friends. Join in facebook add me groups or pages. Many of them ask for friendships.
either go to your home page and on the top left it has requests like friend requests group requests and game requests and so on....... If you've added someone it says on your wall that you've added them and you can access their wall hope that helps THANKS :)

In the upper right hand corner of your facebook home page you will see a notification if you have friend requests. It will say "1 Friend Request" or however many requests there are. Click on that text and each request will appear. The option will be there to "Accept" or "Ignore" each friend request.
Friend requests on Facebook come up in the top left corner of the screen next to the messages and notifications.
Your friend has to accept it
