Err, well Solids are called Solids because there solid (unbreakable) unless you burn (melt) the solid but this can only work with some solids eg plastic, also sometimes you can snap solids eg Chocolate bar. But most Solids are not separatable. You could also use things like magnets which sort of attach things that are metal- only works if things are metal.

Solids can dissolve in solutions. For examples sugar dissolve in water.
Now lets take a mixture of two solids for example sand and sugar.
If you mix sand with water it doesn't dissolve. However the sugar will.
If you put your sand/sugar mixture in water, the sand will still be in the solid form but the sugar will be in solution (dissolved in water).
To get the sand you just need to filter the solution (a bit like when you cook pasta and get rid of the water by sieving it). You will get the solid sand in on your filter paper.
You also can get the sugar back. After filtering, only sugar will be remianing in solution. By evaporating the water, solid crystals of sugar will appear.
Et voila! That's how you can separate two solids.
When two solids dissolve in the same solvents, that becomes more complicated. As the person who answered before me said, sometimes you can use magnets....
Like iron and sulphur. when you mix them together and you can take the iron out by using a magnet. But if you heat them both together, it will be a new substance; iron-sulphur, which you cannot take iron out by a magnet
Solids can often be removed from a liquid by filtering the liquid, or by settling, where solids either settle to the bottom or float to the top.
Yes, a funnel may be used to separate solids from liquids; many types of funnels exist. See some images at the link below.
Sort of, Solids have a fixed shape, while liquids have no fixed shape.
Glass funnels are used to separate solids from liquids by filtration; also they are used to pour liquids or fine powders.See many images at this link.
Solids are strong because they are not like liquids, liquids can go through your hand and solids cant
Coffee filter paper is actually a good quality filter paper but it does not separate liquids from liquids like oil from water, but solids from liquids.
pick up the solids with your hands and separate them from the liquids :P
pick up the solids with your hands and separate them from the liquids :P
filter the liquids from the solids, then sort the solids
This depends on the solids, but filtering usually takes most solids out of most liquids.
Yes,filtration can be used to separate solids from liquids because if you filter a mixture of solids and liquids the liquid will pass through the filter paper while the solids will stay because its particles are too big

the function is to separate liquids from solids in about 20-40 seconds
the function is to separate liquids from solids in about 20-40 seconds
Yes, that's what filtration is.
Many methods are used: filtration, decantation, centrifugation, etc.
Liquids do, but solids do not.
