There are several simple and many more-complicated security features on "big head" $100 bills.
There is a security strip to the left of the oval frame around Franklin's portrait. It should be visible if the bill is held up to a white light, and will glow pink under UV light. The large "100" in the lower-right corner will shift color if the bill is tilted, and a watermark of Franklin's face should be visible to the right of the green Treasury seal, again if the bill is held up to a white light.
More-subtle features include microprinting, i.e. extremely tiny letters and numbers in various places on the bills. On a 1993 note the large "100" in the lower-left corner should be filled with thousands of minuscule "100"s.
