To the best of my knowledge( and its not much) a real Rolex has a "sweep movement" where the 2nd and moves smoothly as opposed to a fake Rolex that may have a "quartz" movement-the 2nd had pauses briefly
There are a number of signs that a Rolex might be fake. If the price is very cheap then it is likely to be fake. One can also look for the magnification of the date on the watch which is 2.5 x on a real Rolex and often only 1.5 x on a fake Rolex. One can also tell by dipping the watch in water as all Rolex watches are water tight. If there is any leak inside the watch it is fake.
you can tell a genuine rolex simply by the paperwork and registration card that will come with any quality watch....it only takes a phone call owning a fake or a stolen rolex will be useless as you can never get it serviced or legitimatly repaired.
The rite way will be taking it to a certify jeweler there is a lot of steps of checking a genuine Rolex from a copy, there is a lot of really good copies out there, there is actually over 20 steps in checking the hole watch, from the movement, face, bracelet, links, pins, condition, year and this are some among other parts that we have to inspect."DO NOT BUY ANY ROLEX BEFORE INSPECTING IT FIRST"
First thing would be the the Date should be magnified 2.5x most fakes will only be magnified 1.5x another thing would be look on the back of the watch there should be no engravings on it NO rolex will have it also looking at the back you shouldn't see any workings as no real rolex has that. Check the quality of the crown some of the fakes are done very bad and rolex wouldnt sell a watch with any flaws on it.

The reason that they're so cheap is because that they're not the real Rolex Constantin Breitling watch. The real Rolex watch are more expensive.
$75000
Rolex does not make fake watches but other companies do make them. Some look very real ,so check with a reputable jeweler before you buy one.

A well-maintained Rolex is perfect--there should be no smudges or imperfections. 18 caret gold and platinum only. The date is magnified 2 x. Buy a used Rolex from a reputable dealer, not off the street.
Depending on condition, and the material used in the band and case, between $2,000-$9,500. Most likely on the lower end around $3,000. But bring it to a certified Rolex dealer to confirm that it is real. Even fakes use real Rolex parts to make theirs look real. And all original parts in the watch increase its value considerably.
