If on Windows Vista/Windows 7, click start and type 'cmd.exe'

When it appear right click it and then click 'run as administrator'

A command prompt window will appear. In it type ipconfig and hit enter

If netwprk connections appear you have a network card, if no network connections

appear you dont have a network card.

you can check "devices and printers" in windows control panel if it's not listed there, you can, if it's a laptop, check the bottom. If it's not there you will have to open up your computer.
