You can trade at the first Pokemon Center you find. Go to the 2nd level by the escalator and talk to the 2nd lady BUT you need a wireless adapter for the gameboy. If you have a DS, it has one built in, but it doesn't always work because the game thinks you're playing a gameboy.

∙ 7y agofirst girl use ice and water type Pokemon so use electric type {don't use grass- because all the pokemons know ice beam } for second use water type and flying type ............. for third use pysic type and last one use ice type !
You'll be battling Elite Four Lorelei first; an ice type trainer. Use a fire, water, ice or steel type to beat her; most effective is fire types. She has a Dewgong, Cloyster, Slowbro, Jynx and Lapras. Grass is *very* weak against ice types, however would be very strong against Lapras, Dewgong and Cloyster.
Next you will be battling Elite Four Bruno; a rock and fighting type Pokemon type Pokemon. Use water, grass, fighting, ground or steel type Pokemon to beat his rock types and use flying and psychic against his fighting types. Bruno has an two Onix, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee and a Machamp.
After Bruno will be Elite Four Agatha; a ghost and poison type trainer. Use ghost and dark types against her ghost type Pokemon and use ground and psychic against her poison types. Agatha uses two Gengar, Golbat, Haunter and an Arbok.
You'll be up against Lance the Dragon Master after Agatha, which of course, uses dragon types. Use ice and dragon types against his Pokemon; ice is super effective. Lance uses a Gyarados, two Dragonair, Aerodactyl and a Dragonite.

∙ 12y agoIt's not that hard to beat the Pokemon league you just need the right team, I would recommend having one Pokemon then find it's weakness and get a Pokemon that resists the weakness or can stand up to a strong hit from either special or physical, and keep doing that till you have all 6 then get them around Lv70+ and take on the Pokemon league. I would also recommend having a crap ton of items.

That is actually possible if you don't feel like catching any pokemon you can have a friend trade you all of them and then you will have the pokedex finished without using any pokeballs.
