By selling it and buying a four wheel drive, it will be a lot cheaper, and if you have to ask you do not have the skill to even give it a try. I don't know many if any people with the skill who would even do this.
Not really.
You can't.. The 2-wheel drive frames are made different then the 4- wheel drives.
Yes but, it would be far less costly to just purchase a 4 wheel drive fourwheeler.
Some vehicles equipped with a traction control that have both 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive options can turn off traction control before putting the vehicle in gear by switching the vehicle from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive. Vehicles that have 4 wheel drive all the time usually do not allow for traction control to be turned off.
i have a 2 wheel drive and someone said i can have his 4 wheel drive but drive train is gone can i use mine and make the 4 wheel drive into a 2 wheel drive
2 wheel drive
No.
The ONLY 2 years that will work is 96 and 97 4L60E transmission. If it is a 4-wheel drive then it must be a 4-wheel drive transmission. If it is a 2-wheel drive then it must be a 2-wheel drive transmission. 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive transmissions will not interchange.
If it has 4-wheel drive you would see controls on the dash to engage 2-wheel high, 4-wheel high or 4-wheel low.
Front wheel drive ( 2 wheel )
Anything is possible if you have the money, but it would be by far cheaper to just purchase a used 01 Silverado with 4 wheel drive and sell yours.
It is a front engine rear wheel drive vehicle. It is not available as a 4 wheel drive.
