With a line graph you use lines. You put numbers at the bottom of the graph and numbers on the side. In other words the bottom numbers are on the x axis and the numbers on the side are on the y axis. Then when you have the dots on the graph you connect them and then it makes a line.

i dont think you can use a line graph for that. i think a table would be better...
The graph can be linear, if is just draw the line in the same path and see the Y axis answer. Sorry if you don't understand. =\
You use the vertical line test. If you can draw a vertical line though the graph and it intersects it only once, it is a function. If the line crosses the graphs more than once it is not.
