Tropical rainforest: Found near the equator, this biome is characterized by high levels of biodiversity and consistent rainfall. Grasslands: These biomes are found in temperate regions and can extend into subtropical zones, characterized by grasses as the dominant vegetation. Temperate forests: Located in regions with distinct seasons, temperate forests have a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees. Tundra: Close to the poles or at high elevations, the tundra biome has cold temperatures, permafrost, and low biodiversity.
Paraguay is very close to the equator, on the Tropic of Capricorn. It has a climate that varies from temperate to hot.
i guess the main character is that the forest trees sheds their leaves when the water in the soil becomes scarce/ summer is coming close.
most rain forests are found near the equator. summary: tropical rainforests grow in areas close to the equator. in these places the climate is hot and wet
Yes the tundra biome is close to the equator.
I believe that you are a bit confused. There is no "temperature zone" since everywhere has a temperature of some kind. You are probably thinking of the temperate zone. Temperate means moderate, not extreme. The planet Earth has two temperate zones, north and south. These are not too close to the hot equator, and not too close to the cold poles, hence they are temperate. There are many countries in these zones, including most of the United States of America (however, one state, Alaska, is in the Arctic zone, not the temperate zone).

Those are some autotrophs in a Deciduous Forest..... •American Beech •Carpet Moss •Common Lime •Guelder Rose •Lady Fern •Northern Arrowwood •Pecan •Shagbark Hickory •Tawny Milksap Mushroom •White Birch Temperate Forests contain deciduous trees, which are trees that shed their leaves every year. Majority of the deciduous forests contain trees like maple, oak, hickory, beech, evergreens, etc. Those varieties of trees create a close-knit canopy over the shrubbery on the forest floor. The varieties of soils and all the precipitation helps in the growth of the trees, who also have height to reach the radiation the sun provides.
Hurricanes happen over hot water ... which is found close to the equator.
