Ceres has no atmosphere, so it is exposed to the direct heating from the sun. As a result the temperature varies according to which part is exposed to the sun. The maximum temperature is around -35 *C, and minimum is about -100 *C, but probably gets colder in shadows. Earth, for comparison has a temperature of about 15 degrees C

It's in the middle of the Asteroid belt so it's neither hot nor cold. I think.
