Does a goldfish need warm or cold water in its tank?
Does hot or cold water flow faster?
Hot water flows faster than cold water because cold water is denser than hot water. Like in the ocean the cold water sinks to the bottom and the warm water floats to the top that is and example of how cold water is denser than hot water. Also, in cold water there is a higher viscosity than in hot water. In cold water the mollacules are closer together so it's harder to move around. Unlike in hot water the mollacules are farther apart so it's easier to flow. :)

Asked in San Francisco
Why is Alcatraz on San Francisco bay?
It's on an rocky island, miles from shore, in very cold water, with rapid currents, that are known to contain white sharks, and it's very difficult to escape from Alcatraz and make it to shore alive. Only 3 people escaped from Alcatraz, and considering nothing was ever heard from them again, they probably died in the attempt, their bodies washed out to the Pacific Ocean, never to be seen again.
Asked in Al Capone
When was Al Capone taken to Alcatraz?
When Alcatraz first became a federal prison in 1934, wardens from all over the country were permitted to send their most incorrigible inmates to Alcatraz. Al Capone was amongst these inmates. Alcatraz began accepting inmates during August of 1934, so Al Capone was probably transferred to Alcatraz around that time.
