The chances of you finding an English bulldog puppy at a shelter are extrremely low. This is largely because of the organization B.C.A.R.N (Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network) which rescues bulldogs and bulldog puppies from shelters and puts them into foster homes until a suitable home is found. Another reason why finding an English bulldog puppy in a shelter is rare is because bulldogs are very expensive. So for example if someone were to buy a $2,000 bulldog puppy, and had to get rid of it because they're allergic, usually aren't willing to give the dog to an animal shelter when they could, instead, sell him/her and get some of their money back.
very common, at least in indianapolis. Most of the city animal shelters that are kill shelters are filled with them people tend to rescue non pitbulls from the shelters
A bulldog puppy can be purchased from a breeder. However if someone does not require a purebred puppy they can be found in the local listings for pets for sale. A purebred bulldog of course would cost much more than one that is not.
a nice looking bulldog can cost at the highest 5,000 dollars and a pretty good bulldog can be about a couple hundred to a thousand dollars. a healthy English bulldog puppy, bred by responsible and caring breeders, will cost at least $1500 dollars, a bulldog that is show quality/ or has champion bloodlines will usually cost between $1500-4000+, an English bulldog puppy that is for sale under $1000 may have problems( health, temper, etc.) and may also have come from a puppy-mill. You can get an adult bulldog from a shelter/bulldog rescue league for usually a small adoption-fee, however rescued bulldogs often have health problems and may need medication given to them as frequently as everyday.
I think that they are both the same amount cute.
well it concerns mainly on the breeder and their prices! i just found a Blue pit for up to three thousand and a pup for only six hundred but an English bulldog puppy is up to two thousand so i would go for a blue pit at a shelter! thanks 4 asking'-rearea13

Yes, he is an adorably squishy English bulldog puppy named Mr. Rockefeller
You have to pay a fee to adopt any kind of dog from a shelter. You also have to decide if you want a puppy or an adult dog. You can adopt a bulldog from a pet rescue, or from a reputable breeder.
Yes he has an English Bulldog named Athens
Most breeders will charge a minimum of $1,500 for their bulldogs and generally will not exceed a $3,000 asking price. BCARN (Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network) charges an adoption fee, for their bulldogs, of about $500 to cover generated expenses when fostering their dogs. If you are interested in acquiring a quality bulldog a good place to start is the BCA's (Bulldog Club of America) breeder referral list.
