How would you know if you are a witch?

There's really no certain way to tell if someone's a witch other than asking them(and they still might lie) and that can be rude so be careful and polite about it. Some people who identify as witches dress in ways to display their beliefs, such as wearing pentacles or other symbols. However, plenty of non-witches do that too so it's not exactly a great way to tell.

But, witches still look like regular people. Most everyone is a witch/wizard, but, their magic is either too weak to even cast a simple spell or they haven't realized their power yet (usually the first one). These 'easy, simple' spells include love spells and hexes.

Witches don't generally wear a badge saying "I am a Witch" (OK, so I know a few that do!).

They may however wear a pentacle or pentagram (the five pointed star)

Wear long, flowing, brightly coloured clothing

Wear gemstones or carry them in their purse

Listen to new age music

Regularly attend "spiritual" discussion groups and meetings

Or they may do none of the above, and just quietly go about their business.

You will never know if someone is a witch by looking at them. You will need to get to know them and what they are interested in. It may then become apparent, or they may tell you, that they practise the craft.

You can't really tell if someone is a witch because they look and act just like a normal person.

Also the preferred term for witch is Wicca.

Wicca is a spiritual path. Not all Wiccan call or consider themselves witches and most certainly not all people who call or consider themselves witches are Wiccan.

And I hate to be picky, but witches are normal people, they don't just "look like them."

witches are real and i can answer you this, how you can tell is simple; you start getting your meager powers at the age of 13, the first sine is that you start to get light headed around churches, and it hurts to were silver crosses or to even touch them. and you have 54 lines on your palms.

A Witch is someone (male/female) who practices Witchcraft. Nobody is born a witch. Anyone can become a witch. One has to learn witchcraft and become a witch. If you have learnt witchcraft, then you can practice and then you are a witch, if not, so.
