Those who live near or have worked or played in the river would most certainly agree, a good rule of thumb is on average, the river can be found to be 3-4 feet deep, although the depth can vary to even 20 or more feet in some areas. The waterway is home to many islands, wetland marshes, and natural pools of varying depths. The river is more often known for being wide as opposed to deep, per say, with increasing width as one travels south.
