A river's depth ranges in location and size. Most rivers would be around 3 ft to 6 ft deep at the beginning. But as soon as it gets near the middle or larger, rivers are recorded to be as much as 30 ft deep or more. The maximum depth at rivers near the channels can get up to 100 ft to 200 ft deep or even more!
