Density is defined as mass per unit volume.

Depending upon the mass and volume, the density changes.

It is generally measured in kilograms per cubic decimeter.

In general, density can be also be changed by changing either the pressure or the temperature.

Liquid water has a density of about 1 kg/dm³.
