Well he was ten years old he wanted to play soccer. So his parents enrolled him in this soccer league, and one day when he was playing, he fell and hit his head. Whatever way he hit himself, he damaged his optic nerve, and he went blind.

Andrea was born with congenital glaucoma and despite over 20 operations, his parents were told he would eventually lose his sight. He attended a school for the blind and partially sighted and during a game of football, the ball which hadball

bearings inside hit him in his right eye - the better of the two - which caused a hemorrhage and total loss of sight.
