Ralph takes a makeshift spear to use as a weapon against Jack in "Lord of the Flies." He repurposes a stick, sharpens one end, and uses it to defend himself and confront Jack's tribe.
It is Jack's idea to use Piggy's glasses to start the fire. Jack steals the glasses right off of Piggy's face without even asking him first.

Piggy's glasses can represent many things in this book, they represent power, civilization an wisdom. Without the glasses Jack felt powerless not being able to build a fire and all. So he took them to use them for his own good.

First you jump on the swing in their backyard and push it all the way to the tree house. After, you jump on top of the tire and you go into the tree house. Jack will be in there and click use on Jack's glasses. Then you'll give it to him.
Jack's group invades Ralph's group at night because they want to steal Piggy's glasses, which they need to create fire. The darkness of night provides them with cover and makes it easier for them to carry out the theft without being seen. Additionally, Jack's group is becoming increasingly savage and unruly, leading them to act impulsively and aggressively.
