He used a lot of allegories or parables to teach about heaven. Large parts of Revelation also contain Christ's descriptions of heaven, as given to the apostle John (Rev 1:1: "The revelation of Jesus Christ..." Rev 22:16: "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things..."). The passages in Revelation that might interest you are:
