Curie did not discover radiation -- Henri Becquerel did. Curie simply showed that the amount of radiation coming from uranium compounds depended only on the amount of uranium in the sample, not on the chemical make-up of the compound. This strongly suggested that the radiation was coming from the atoms of uranium themselves, a revolutionary idea for its time.
The Curies later found other elements that were radioactive; radium being the most intense of those.
with the help of her husband Pierre Curie they did some fundamental research
Irene Joliot-Curie worked on radiochemistry with her husband Frederic Joliot. They were jointly awarded the Nobel prize for their work on artificial radioactivity.
the aluminum itself became radioactive
Radiation
Radium was discovered by Pierre Curie, Marie Curie and Gustave Bemont in 1898.
marrie curie is reserching a new elements one day madam curie working on his lab and light is gone the madam curie found a new elements which is briting in night this elements is called radium and polonium
