the ancient egyptians decorated their houses with paint tapestrys and such of outside wild life they also decorated with statues shrines rugs pools and the wildlife was usually marsh wild life

They decorated it with pictures of what a pharoah might of have done that was important, maybe a cartouche or even hieroglyphics. The temples were usually decorated with the god or goddess of that temple and what that god or goddess did.

The two ways that Egyptian decorate their temple is row of stone sphinxes lined the path leading to the entrance and on the either side of the gate might stand an obelisk, a tall, four sided pillar that is pointed on top.
