There was never really a setting for Dave's love and taste in music. When he was a baby he had a guitar made from cardboard and it was his favourite "toy"
The band Hedley is made up of 4 members Jacob Hoggard ( lead vocals). Tommy Mac plays bass . Dave Rosin plays Guitar . Chris Crippin plays drums.

they got it in 2005. Prior to this Jacob (lead vocals) was on canadian idol.. during that process jacob met dave tom and chris that were in a band in need of a lead vocalist. Fast forward a bit to when jacob was "eliminated" from Canadian Idol ( I have heard and BELIEVE he got the offer to be in the band knowing that he was a better artist in a band then winning and having to be a solo artist they let him drop out of C I knowing that he would have won and not really have went far in a career as a solo artist) anyways after he was "eliminated" from the top 3 (the night he was "eliminated" he was wearing a black t-shirt with the word "HEDLEY" on it. That is now the name of the group/band. Also when he was sort of interviewed back stage after the elimination his words were "this is just the beginning Canada, keep your eyes open this is NOT the end, then again this is just the beginning with a huge smile well sort of smirk on his face. Then in 2005 hedley released their self titled album also in 2005 released their first music video "On My Own" then from their an album "Famous Last Words" in 2007 , "Never Too Late single/video" in 2009 followed by "Famous Last Words" in 2009, in between those they released another album with a mixture of pre-released records and un-released singles "Daddy-O, Acoustic version of Trip ECT" following all of those they have released "Storms" in 2011 following their Cross Canadian Tour of "shipwrecked" recently in 2012 they have just released a single called "Kiss You Inside Out" it is really different comparing to their previous albums/singles. More dancey. All in all, Hedley is not stuck playing one style, "the book is not written for hedley yet - dave rosin" they keep getting bigger and bigger day by day month by month year by year. They are not only musicians though, this is my absolute favourite quality in all of the band-mates, they are involved in charities. Plenty of them, their largest is "Free The Children" in India. They also took a trip to Kenya, Africa, to see what 50$ of our money would do for a family there. Well to sum it up, 50$ of our money buys a goat, if you have a goat there you are considered wealthy it gives the family money ect. They are four absolutely brilliant men that are blessed to have the chances and fans they do. They are not in it just to be "famous" they are just like us everyday people. Their help in other countries amazes me, because you don't find too many famous people whether it is a musician or actor/actress that will take a week or two out of their busy schedules to go to one of these countries to experience the lives of others themselves. They are amazing people, I will be happy to say I am blessed to be a fan of them. They are amazing men, I can't say how great these men are. They are a blessing to our world with their lyrics and actions. We are lucky to have men like them make it as far as they have <3
