How did drake and josh end?

"Drake & Josh was never canceled. The term "canceled" usually applies to a network ending a TV show due to poor ratings. That never happened with Drake & Josh. In fact, Drake & Josh got its highest ratings during its final season. And the last episode "Really Big Shrimp" was the most-watched episode of the entire series' run.

Drake & Josh ended because we all felt it was time to say goodbye. Both Drake Bell and Josh Peck had been with Nickelodeon for nearly 8 years (I first hired them for The Amanda Show). They were ready to move on and try new things. Also, the network already had plenty of episodes of Drake & Josh for reruns, and they were excited about the idea of me creating a new TV series for Miranda Cosgrove (which I did: iCarly).

So, Drake & Josh ended because of a mutual decision by the stars, the network, and me. We were all very sad to say goodbye to the show, but we had a lot of fun two years later making "Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh.""

I think it got cancelled either A: Because iCarly was going to be filmed.

or B: Drake Bell and Josh Peck wanted to move on to new things... I have been looking at research myself and I still haven't found a completely right answer.

Like in the previous answer. One possible reason why it ended was because Miranda had to start filming episodes for iCarly.

Drake and Josh probably signed contracts for a certain number of years and they just expired. Miranda Cosgrove also started working on iCarly. The only thing that wasn't good about the show was all of the kissing by Drake.

well the reason why they stopped making the show is because of Meghan (Miranda cosgrove) she stopped being on there it's not because they got to old or people hate it or nothing. when Miranda cosgrove left she made her own show called icarly were Jennette mccurdy,nathan kress, Noah muck,and Jerry trainor. i think she made her show just for money and stuff but it seems that her plan had backfired on her for becoming the funniest show all the way to the bottom. i mean like sponge bob is doing better than her come on sponge bob has been coming on for like 13-14 years now and still making new shows no winder they didn't win a great sidekick ad ward at the Nickelodeon choice ad wards Harper (Jennifer stone ) off of wizard of Waverly place .
