In the first novel it really annoyed him because he didn't feel like he had done anything to deserve it until after his first Quidditch match where he felt that he had at least achieved something. His fame always irked him a little but as the years passed he got used to it.
He didn't believe it at first, telling Hagrid that someone had made a big mistake, but when he learnt the real cause of his parents death and then petunia calling him and his deceased mother a freak and therefor saying magic was real, he believed it wholeheartedly. Enough to leave the house and into a boat with a strange man.
he didn't feel it.
HE GOT TOLD IT. remember the bit when Hagrid goes, 'your a wizard harry'
He felt in Hogwarts, like that was be his home. At the Dursley's he never felt good, they never really loves him, but at the Hogwarts there was many people besides him.
Bellatrix kills Dobby with a knife and Harry Potter is very sad-so sad that he digs a grave without using magic.
It was quite popular, but nothing like as popular as it is now. It was considered as another good book aimed at young people. No-one expected it would become as popular as it has.
Uncle Vernon laughs and tells Harry that Platform 9 and 3/4 doesn't exists. He took great pleasure in dropping Harry off at Kings Cross, putting his luggage onto a trolley and then dropping him off in front of platforms nine and ten before laughing and driving away.
The first years arrive in the Great Hall, where they line up in front of a very old hat, which they learn is called the Sorting Hat. After putting it on, it tells them which house they should be in. Many different students are sorted into different houses, and finally it is the trio's turn. Ron and Hermione go to Gryffindor; however the Sorting Hat wants to put Harry in Slytherin. He begs it inwardly not to, and is instead sorted into Gryffindor. As the students are conferring about each other's lives and families, Harry looks up at the High Table and notices a man he later learns is named Prof. Severus Tobias Snape. When Snape glances at Harry, a terrible pain shoots through his scar, startling Harry. Before Harry can fully react, however, Dumbledore ends the start-of-term feast by telling the students that a certain corridor on the third floor is off-limits. After this he sends them off to their dormitories. Percy Weasley leads the Gryffindors to their dorms, and gets them in by way of a secret password ("Caput Draconis"). As Harry falls asleep that night, he has a nightmare, but when he wakes up the next morning, he doesn't remember having the dream at all.
As all fans are different, there were many different reactions to Dumbledore's imperfections. Some fans took his flaws with grace and saw it as depth. We, as humans, are not perfect. No one is infallible. Therefore, Dumbledore cannot be either. Other fans, generally the ones who already had some level of disrespect for Dumbledore, viewed his flaws as proof of his incompetence. Many of these fans, though, were already "bashing" Dumbledore.
Banned? From what? He's not banned from anything.
he was not able to understand how's he got it
