How did the 60's change America?

The 60's gave America a better idea of peace and understanding, and started us on the way to being "green" i.e. energy efficient and environmentaly friendly. It gave us lots of awesome styles in clothing and music with a message.

The widening gap between the rich and the non-rich wrecked the economy and required that American families have two incomes, instead of the one income that had supported them until then. This forced women out of their homes and into the workplace, so that the future citizens of America are being raised in day-care centers by television sets, instead of by their mothers at home.
