How did the Jews get to the gas chambers?

They would tell the Jews they were going to take a shower, however they did have an idea what was happening. they just sorta got crazy thinking that is was just a shower too.

So the Nazis painted the trucks with a red cross so that planes ahead couldn't see the real reason why the trucks were there. They would throw the Jews into the trucks and take them to refuge camps where they would practicly starve them. Then they would take them to the gas chambers and the gas chambers would fill up with gas so that the people couldn't breath then tey would die. Next they would take all there clothes off and stack the people on top of each other. Grosss. I know.

On one hand Zyklon B (a gas used to disinfect clothing) was used but mostly there were so called "Gaswagen"- trucks improvised to work as gas chambers and lead the fumes of the engine into a sealed cabin on the truck where the victims where kept. They would put victims in the trucks, seal off the cabin and started driving around until the victims in the back where dead - which took up to 30 minutes.

I apologise firstly for any who may be offended by my answer...no offence intended..whatsoever.... but many people simply do not know.

The Jewish people were transported in cattle cars, often travelling in all weather, weeks at a time., standing all the time. There was no room to sit or lie down. There were no sanitary provisions made and one bucket of water per day to share amongst them all. The same with food. Sometimes they were let out when the smell became too much or they were kept waiting at a station, for a long time, but then they would be herded back in to start all over again.

Exhausted, many would die especially the children but at the end of the journey, they were separated into groups...women and children in one side.. men and boys the other side. They were then told they were to have showers , after all their jewellry had been confiscated. Alive, but apprehensive, they entered the chambers and the doors were closed behind them.

Then hydrogen cyanide pellets would be dropped in.

The Holocaust killed over 6 million Jewish people, and overall, during the reign of Hitler, over 7 million other ethnic groups were targeted for extinction, as well to fit in with his plans for a total Aryan Empire.

There were a variety of tactics used, these were refined over the years that they were used:

As the victims had often come by train (most frequently) in the cattle cars, they had be intentionally denied water, this would make them more compliant, they would be told that tea or soup was waiting for them, after they had showered.

They would also be asked what kind of skills they had; for example if anyone was a tailor or a dress maker, they would be told that there was a need for tailors or dressmakers, but that they should shower first.

Eventually they would get groups of Jews (Jewish Sonderkommando) to convince the victims that they were going to have a shower.

They were made out of bunkers (concrete) . Once the chamber was full, the doors were screwed shut and solid pellets of Zyklon-B were dropped into the chambers through vents in the side walls, releasing toxic HCN, or hydrogen cyanide.

Hitler did not put the Jews in gas chambers, he ordered other people to march Jews into gas chambers. Engineers like Eichmann designed the chambers as well as the protocols for putting Jews into them. Jews would be told by the security officers that prior to processing, they would be given a shower to clean off from the long and smelly train ride to the camp. They were told to completely undress, place their clothes in a neat pile (which would be confiscated by the Nazis post-mortem) and head into the large "shower" room. Then the door was sealed shut and the zyklon b gas was released, asphhyxiating and murdering them.
