The conclusion of the book is that when Rain recovers in the hospital and decides to go back to Garland and picks up Cap, he feels happy and sad for leaving and going back to Garland. A few days later, he rides the pickup truck along Garland Property, but the police arrest him not because he doesn't have a license, but that he was in Skyline Realty and Development property. That takes him by surprise and starts to say that it was Garland Property. The officer says that it's not that anymore and they arrest him. When Rain picks him up Cap can see that she had changed her style by buying a mercedes and she had changed a lot. She did this buy selling Garland Farm and Cap goes to back to the new life.
