during the revolutionary war Florida was a military base for the British. when the thirteen colonies rebel against the king Florida was the only state that did not rebel against them. the war was also ended in east Florida.

They produced food and helped fight in the war. They also provided places to practice driving airplanes, since it was warm there and they have a lot of space to fly planes.
